New Castle’s Balance & Strength: Infinity Flow Studio

Infinity Flow Studios

We love New Wilmington and we know that you will too!  So…we have taken it upon ourselves to help you get to know our community a little better in our new monthly feature; we will be spotlighting a local business each month.  We encourage you to visit our beautiful town someday soon and see these businesses in person. We promise you will experience a very special small town charm that you won’t soon forget.

New Castle’s Balance & Strength: Infinity Flow Studio – Yoga, Barre & Pilates

Have you ever met someone whose goal is to provide her community with a supportive environment to share positive energy and life experiences? We have, in fact we have the pleasure of seeing her often. Shannon Prestopine, owner of Infinity Flow Studio – Yoga, Barre & Pilates, strives to engage her community through the artful practice of yoga. Infinity Flow Studio’s staff members do their best to provide each individual with an experience that their mind, body, and soul can benefit from.

After 15 years as a corporate employee, Shannon went back to the drawing board to reInfinity Flow Studiomap her future career path; one leap of faith landed her in an entirely different line of work.  Shannon opened her studio on October 20th, 2014 and continues to practice and share what she loves every. single. day.

Shannon tells us, “The studio offers a variety of unique classes for every level of practitioner.  Our schedule includes heated power yoga, restorative yoga, non-heated yoga, beginner’s yoga, Pilates reformer/mat classes, Ballet Barre and Ugi Ball (30-minute strength & Core workout). We also have private group and individual training in everything we offer. We also offer a variety of other services such as relaxation massage, thai yoga massage and reiki.”

Shannon recognizes that a weekly yoga class may not be within everyone’s budget and so they host a special “Pay What You Can” yoga class at Cascade Park twice each week. Community members are welcomed and encouraged to reap the benefits of habitual yoga practice with Infinity Flow instructors and asked to only give what they are able for payment. Infinity Flow Studio has also partnered with the New Castle School District to offer yoga to classes to grades 3-12.

Do you have a favoritInfinity Flow Studiose yoga style? The two styles that Shannon enjoys the most are powerful heated yoga practice, and Yin Yoga. These two styles provide balance and strength to her body; the effect that both styles have on her physical and mental state are ineffable.

We asked Shannon what her dreams are for her business, and she replied, “To share the knowledge gained in my journey with as many people as possible and to make people more aware of the benefits of yoga, pilates and meditation for their overall quality of life. We hope to be able to reach out to those that need it most and offer more free yoga and meditation to the community and to implement kid’s yoga programs into more of the schools.”

The Jacqueline House is ecstatic to be partnering with this giving studio to present our community members with our first yoga retreat, Renew & Restore Retreat. More information regarding our retreat and how you can reserve your spot can be found here:
